Telari Terms of Service
About Telari and these terms
Telari Labs is operated by The Wine Atlas Ltd, trading as Telari Labs, registered in England and Wales under company number 17014628. Our registered office and address for correspondence and cancellation requests is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact us at TLsupport@telari-labs.com about the service, payments, cancellation or complaints.
These terms cover personal learner and educator accounts, memberships, promotional passes and Personal Audio purchases on Telari. Your order summary identifies what you are buying, its price, billing period and any offer conditions. Enterprise services require a separate agreement and data-processing arrangements; a personal membership does not supply those arrangements.
Membership payments are non-refundable. We do not offer a money-back guarantee. Cancelling renewal stops future membership payments and leaves your paid access available until the current term ends. Personal Audio purchases have the separate non-delivery policy below. Your statutory cancellation and quality rights are explained below.
Our privacy notice explains how we use personal information. It is information about processing, not a requirement to consent to every use of information.
Accounts and eligibility
Telari is a general-audience learning platform. You must be aged 18 or over to create or use a personal learner or educator account. We offer the service internationally, subject to applicable law and the availability of the relevant service and provider in your country. This does not mean every feature, payment method or AI client is available in every country. Any future school or institutional offering will have separate eligibility and service arrangements.
Educators are responsible for the suitability of their course content, instructions and intended audience. They must keep material age-appropriate for the learners they authorise, configure the available access controls appropriately and obtain any learner, guardian or institutional permission required for that use. Course access must also comply with Telari's account rules and the relevant provider's conditions. Telari remains responsible for its own service and personal-information handling; it also bears the educator responsibilities for courses it authors.
Provide accurate account details, keep your login credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Your personal membership and account credentials must not be shared or sold. An educator may invite authorised users through the seats and roles provided by their plan.
Use Telari lawfully. Do not interfere with security, access another person's private work, abuse other users, submit malicious files or use payment codes or provider credentials without permission. Only upload material and personal information you are authorised to provide. Avoid unnecessary information about other people, sensitive personal information and confidential business material in personal learning or AI prompts.
Learning and assessment
Telari supplies learning materials, course rules, activities, automated feedback and progress records. Availability depends on the course's access and progression rules as well as your membership. Membership is not a promise that every course, provider or model will be available to you.
AI can generate inaccurate or incomplete material and feedback. Model assessment applies the course's questions and assessment rules to your submitted answer; it may affect scores, completion and progression. Reading and reflection prompts are separate from scored assessment. Check important information against appropriate sources. Startup and AI learning materials are educational and do not replace professional legal, financial, medical or other regulated advice.
If an assessment seems wrong, contact the course educator or TLsupport@telari-labs.com with the course and activity details to request a human review. A Telari completion record or certificate does not imply an externally accredited qualification unless the course expressly identifies that accreditation.
Do not rely on Telari AI output alone for a decision with legal or similarly significant consequences for someone, including recruitment, dismissal or professional eligibility. Enterprise customers remain responsible for their own training and decision processes under their separate agreement.
Membership prices and renewals
Novice is free. Current paid individual memberships are:
| Membership | Monthly payment | Annual payment |
|---|---|---|
| Plus | £7.99 | £79 |
| Creator | £19 | £190 |
| Creator Pro | £49 | £490 |
Prices are in pounds sterling and are the final Telari prices for the period shown. The company is not currently UK VAT-registered and does not charge UK VAT under that status. Any change in price or tax treatment must be disclosed before it applies to a future purchase or renewal; it does not increase an already agreed paid period. Your bank or model provider may charge separately under its own terms.
A card-funded monthly membership renews monthly; an annual membership renews annually. Each renewal charges the ordinary price disclosed for your selected plan unless you have cancelled or an expressly stated offer applies. An annual membership is paid as one annual amount, not twelve monthly instalments. Payment must be confirmed before the paid membership is activated. Your confirmation will identify the paid term and renewal information.
The plan description and order summary identify the included features and limits. Optional course services, Personal Audio and charges from your own AI provider are not automatically included in a membership payment.
Creator Audio allowances
Creator includes 180 minutes and Creator Pro includes 900 minutes of educator-reviewed Audio generation per monthly allowance period. An annual membership also supplies a monthly allowance: it does not grant all twelve months' minutes at once. The account allowance display identifies the applicable period and remaining balance.
Unused allowance does not accumulate into later periods. Generation requires an eligible membership and authorised course content. Usage may be reserved while a job runs and reconciled with the generation result. Do not assume a failed job has released its reservation until the account balance or support confirms that outcome. Minute top-ups are not offered in this release.
Reviewed Audio generation allowances are separate from a learner's Personal Audio purchases and from speech or voice-control usage limits. Voice features also depend on the authorised course or lesson, provider availability and the limits displayed for the feature; they are not unlimited.
Cancelling a recurring membership
You can cancel future renewals at any time through Account → Membership and billing → Manage billing, using the Stripe customer portal. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid term, and you keep the applicable paid access until then. If the portal is unavailable, send a clear cancellation request to TLsupport@telari-labs.com before the next renewal and identify your account.
Payments for the current paid term are non-refundable. Cancelling renewal does not by itself refund an earlier payment. Contact us if a renewal occurs after a valid cancellation request or if you believe a payment is wrong.
When a term or pass ends, membership-only features become unavailable unless another valid membership or grant supplies them. This can include detailed learning-history access and paid educator creation features. Cancelling is not the same as deleting your account or all stored records; retention is explained in the privacy notice. Course and learner permissions remain separate from payment status.
Payment codes and pilot passes
A code's offer identifies its eligible membership, courses, redemption deadline and access period. A one-month pilot pass grants the stated access for one month, with its expiry shown in your account. Redemption does not automatically enrol you into a paid subscription or authorise a charge when the pass ends. Continued paid membership requires a separate purchase.
A full-cover membership code grants the applicable term without a card-funded automatic renewal. A partial-discount code reduces the initial payment only unless its offer expressly says otherwise; subsequent card renewals use the disclosed ordinary price. Codes have no cash value and cannot be resold or redeemed beyond their stated conditions.
Where a pilot includes Telari-funded assessment, DeepSeek is the default supported provider. Other Telari-funded models require Telari's approval. An educator cannot make Telari's API keys or funding available to their learners. Your own supported key can be used for permitted alternative models; your provider's charges are your responsibility. A learner pass does not grant Telari-funded course generation. Temporary own-key Studio exploration is limited to the access and features stated in the offer.
AI providers and your own API key
Using an AI feature sends the material needed for that task to the selected provider. Depending on the feature, this can include course extracts, assessment instructions, your answer, a conversation or source material. A key you supply does not keep those requests entirely on your device: Telari may store the key securely and construct or transmit requests on your behalf.
Only use a key you are authorised to use. Keep it confidential, check the provider's usage charges and data terms, and remove or rotate it if compromised. Your own key does not override course permissions, membership eligibility or Enterprise organisation policy. Supported providers and models can change as their owners change availability; a change does not permit us to silently weaken your agreed data-processing arrangements.
Personal Audio purchases
Personal Audio is a separate, one-off purchase for the eligible lessons and source versions identified in your quote. The final basket price is shown before you authorise payment. It is not a subscription or a purchase of the copyright in a course or recording.
Personal Audio purchases are non-refundable. If we cannot deliver the purchased Audio, we will refund the undelivered portion. This is separate from the Audio generation allowance included in a Creator membership.
Purchased Audio becomes available in your Telari account after payment confirmation and preparation. Your order information explains delivery, and the order status shows preparation progress. Automatically prepared Audio is identified separately from educator-reviewed Audio and may contain errors. Contact support if delivery is delayed or the purchased Audio does not work.
You may listen through the authorised Telari features while the relevant entitlement, participation and course rules allow. There is no promise of unrestricted downloads, transfer, resale or permanent access independent of the course. Ordinary course archive closes new discovery and enrolment but preserves delivery for existing authorised participants. Exceptional rights, safety or legal restrictions may still require content to be removed; contact support if this affects a paid purchase.
Consumer cancellation and refunds
Your statutory cancellation and quality rights remain intact. For a UK consumer's initial service or digital-content contract, the usual cooling-off period ends 14 days after the day the contract is made, subject to the immediate-supply rules below. You do not need to give a reason to cancel during that period. This is separate from cancelling a future membership renewal. Other mandatory rights may apply in your country.
We do not offer voluntary refunds or a money-back guarantee, whether or not you have used the purchase. This policy does not exclude a refund or other remedy required by law, including an applicable cooling-off cancellation. A payment code has no refundable cash value.
If you expressly request that a service starts during the cooling-off period, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service supplied before you cancel, but only where the law permits and we gave you the required information before purchase. Any deduction is based on the agreed contract price and service supplied, rather than an undisclosed charge for provider tokens. Starting or partially using a service does not by itself remove your cancellation right. That right ends on full performance only where the required express request and acknowledgement were obtained.
For digital content supplied immediately, the cooling-off cancellation right ends when supply starts only if you first expressly consented to immediate supply, acknowledged the loss of that right and received the required contract confirmation. Use alone does not remove these rights. If the required conditions are not met, we will provide the refund required by law. Your rights if services or content are faulty, misdescribed or not delivered remain unaffected.
Send refund or statutory cancellation requests to TLsupport@telari-labs.com or our postal address above, identifying your account and purchase. Any clear cancellation statement is sufficient; the form below is optional. We review these requests individually and explain the decision and any lawful deduction. Where the statutory cooling-off right applies, we make the refund without undue delay and within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice. Other remedies follow their applicable legal deadlines. Refunds use the original payment method unless otherwise lawfully agreed, without a refund fee. Cancelling a refunded purchase and ending its associated paid access are separate from cancelling future renewals; independent grants and other purchases remain intact.

Your content and educator permissions
You retain the rights you hold in your own submitted work and course materials. You grant Telari the permission needed to store, display, process and deliver that content for the features and audiences you authorise, including selected AI processing. This permission does not transfer ownership or permit unrelated sale or model training by Telari.
For an educator course with automatic conversion enabled, this permission also allows Telari to convert eligible course text and question prompts into Audio for authorised learners, store the recordings privately and reuse an identical recording for separately authorised entitlements. You can disable conversion for future purchases through course settings. This does not automatically cancel existing paid entitlements or queued paid delivery, which remain subject to the purchase and archive rules.
Do not redistribute other people's course materials or generated recordings beyond the permission supplied with them. You remain responsible for checking you have the necessary rights to upload or publish material and to send it to the selected providers. AI output may not be unique and third-party rights can apply. No author royalty or educator payout programme is offered by these terms.
Availability and account restrictions
We aim to provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance, security incidents and external-provider failures can interrupt particular features. A temporary outage does not cancel a paid order or remove any remedy you are entitled to. Report payment, generation or access problems to support.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful activity, a material breach of these terms or a valid rights complaint. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and allow you to respond or correct the issue. Any termination and treatment of prepaid services must be proportionate and preserve applicable refund and consumer rights.
Changes and responsibility
We may make reasonable changes for security, legal requirements, corrections or service improvements. If a proposed change would materially reduce an agreed paid service or change its renewal price, we will explain it before it applies and explain your cancellation and any applicable refund options. Continued use alone is not permission to retrospectively change an already purchased paid term.
We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill where that loss was a foreseeable result. We do not exclude responsibility for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything the law does not permit us to exclude. Your mandatory consumer rights remain intact. Separate Enterprise liability arrangements belong in the Enterprise contract.
Complaints and applicable law
Send complaints to TLsupport@telari-labs.com. Give the account, course or order details needed to investigate and the outcome you seek. We will consider the complaint and explain the proposed resolution. You retain your right to seek a legal remedy.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live. Consumers may bring a claim in the courts available to them under applicable law; these terms do not require them to use only courts in England.
